The Fourth Season of the popular Ranked Battles mode is starting on Friday June 10 at 08:00 CEST (UTC+2) and runs until Monday July 25 at 07:30 CEST.

Whether you have conquered all the previous Seasons, or you are just about to dive into the competitive waters of Ranked Battles for the first time, the rewards are as high as the challenge itself.
The popular concept of Ranked Battles stays the same – battle the others in a special format of 7 versus 7. But there are some tweaks you have asked for that we are bringing to the table…
The “Must Knows” About Season 4
- Season 4 of Ranked Battles will see you earning progression Stars, climbing to the top through a total of 22 Ranks, separated into 5 Leagues, ending with an ultimate Super League at Rank 1.
- The general Tier progression starts with Tiers V-VI and continues with Tiers VI-VII until a player reaches the final destination of Rank 1.
- The Super League at Rank 1 will host only the strongest vessels at Tier X, allowing the chosen “few” to duke it out in a separate bracket, without the risk of falling down – once a top dog, always a top dog (at least until the end of the Season).
- Players are matched within their respective leagues to ensure that battles are as balanced as possible.
- Like in the previous Seasons, the progression through the Ranks is influenced by your efforts on the battlefield as well as the efforts of your team. Win a game, get a Star. Lose a game, lose a Star.
- This time around, however, your accolades will be appreciated and you will not be dragged down by an inefficient team. Be the best in your team and keep your hard earned Star even for a lost game.

USS Flint is a modified Atlanta-class light cruiser and she can be yours for reaching Rank 1 and having both the Jolly Roger and Jolly Roger II commemorative flags.
The Jolly Roger II flag functions as a token, which will be exchanged for the USS Flint cruiser some time later after the end of the Season. Players will be able to earn the Jolly Roger II flag again in Season 5 and earn the ship in Season 6. Should a player not have any of the pirate-themed flags, the progression towards USS Flint naturally lengthens.
This Season’s commemorative flag is Midway-themed. Everyone reaching Rank 15 will get to fly this flag after the end of the Season.
For reaching Rank 2 and Rank 1, all players will be awarded 1,000 and 2,500 Doubloons respectively as well as a boatload of Credits and an exclusive “Ranked” Camouflage pattern.
For reaching Rank 1 for the first time in Ranked Battles, players will be awarded the Jolly Roger flag.
Is that all? Why no! Climbing up the Ranked Ladder, you and everybody else participating will be getting a plethora of in-game goods: Signal flags, Credits, Camouflage and even Premium time.
The flags awarded for reaching a certain League will also give out repair cost discounts for your ships. These flags will be removed after the Season is over.

Anything else About Season 4?
- For each Rank earned in Season 3 you get one Star in Season 4.
- The safe Ranks, from which you cannot fall off, are: 22, 21, 20, 18, 15 and 12.
- Each Rank requires a gain from 1 to 6 Stars.
- When progressing down Ranks 22-11, you get 1 Star when you reach the next Rank. Starting from Rank 10, you start with 0 Stars on the particular Rank, making it easier to lose a Rank for a lost game.
- Remember, however, that by being the best player from the losing team (by experience gained), you do not lose a Star.
