Update 3.2: Fields of War brings a host of game improvements, tanker-requested features, a bunch of fixes and, more importantly, new battlegrounds! Take your tanks out on recon, and explore these unfamiliar sites.
New Battlegrounds
ARDENNES
Ardennes features an isolated, battered village near a snowy forest edge. The city center is based on the historical town of Bastogne and includes a frozen river. Will you stay in the forest, or venture into the town?
RUINBERG – WINTER
The battle never truly stops in World of Tanks! Ruinberg – Winter may be snowed in, but that’s not enough to stop a tank. Whether you traverse across the frozen fields or the icy city streets, you’ll have chills!
SKORPION PASS
Set in German-held North Africa, this slightly smaller battleground (1km x 1km) features a lengthy canyon splitting the map in two along with peaks and valleys hiding a village and airport. This oasis has seen better days, as now the battleground is available for all tankers!
Updated Maps
- Live Oaks – The center water floor is now a traversable swamp with new cover and inspired new tactics!
- Swamp – Improvements to foliage and terrain decals.
- Siegfried Line (and “War!” variant) – A new layout for the field will give flankers more opportunities to snipe and break through enemy lines!
Additional Features
FOUR TOTAL OPS
You can now have three (3) active Operations and a single Boost Op active at the same time! Before, you could only have two Ops and a Boost Op active, but due to popular request, we changed it.
CREW RANKS
Your crews’ rank abbreviation and counter are on the main Garage panel, meaning it’ll be easier to keep up to date with their battlefield progress.
IMPROVED BATTLE QUEUE SCREEN
It’s better to be in the know, than not. You’ll now see much more information about the matchmaking queue:
1) Time elapsed since entering the queue
2) Total amount of tankers within your matchmaking range
3) Total amount of tankers in the battle queue
4) Total amount of tankers in the battle queue by tier
5) Total amount of tankers within your matchmaking range broken down by vehicle class
6) Your selected vehicle class
7) Your selected vehicle tier
8) The name of your selected vehicle
9) Icon indicating which game type you’re in
