During the past year the game has evolved massively in many different aspects: we have added new tanks, features, and maps; released the game on Steam, and done much more! All of this would not have been possible without your great support throughout all this time. And yes, we are aware that it’s kind of early for a New Year’s present, but we just couldn’t wait any longer!
Having said all that, we want to say one more thing—a “BIG THANK YOU”, which by our magical Blitz powers was materialised into the following New Year’s gift:
BT-7 Artillery
Does the vehicle look familiar? Well, it should, as the tank is an artillery modification of the well-known BT-7 that was developed by the design bureau of the Kharkiv Locomotive Factory in 1934-35. However, don’t be deceived by its looks, because there’s more to it than meets the eye! The vehicle might not be as fast and manoeuvrable as its regular version, but it definitely makes up for it with a fantastic 76 mm howitzer. This little beast, which belongs to Tier III, is capable of one-shotting most Tier II tanks and ravaging equal-Tier vehicles. Even when facing opponents of a higher Tier, it can still deal significant amounts of damage. Just make sure you load all the HE shells and let wrecking time begin!
All you need to do to get your hands on this gift is to log in to the game between 15 December 2016 at 06:10 CET (UTC+1) and 15 January 2017 at 06:10 CET (UTC+1) and complete the following special mission:
Name: New Year’s Gift 2017
Objective:
- Play a battle
Conditions:
- Random and Supremacy battles
- Any vehicle can be used
- Can be completed once per account
Reward: BT-7 Artillery, Tier III, Soviet Premium Light Tank + Garage Slot + 100% Mastery Crew
IMPORTANT: If you are new to the game, keep in mind that in order to be able to complete the aforementioned mission you must complete or skip the entire tutorial first.
Remember – Special Missions do not have any direct support in the game’s interface. You will see confirmation of its completion on the Battle Results screen under “Reward for Mission completed”. See the dedicated guide for more information.
