Today a new version of the Minsk map is sent to the supertest. The purpose of the tests is to make the map more diversified tactically and suitable for all vehicle classes. The problems we want to solve derive from the linear development of the battle around Victory Square and the central part of the map, and we want this part to be more playable.
To improve the gameplay, we decided to move the map area slightly to the north, towards the theater, moving the base positions appropriately. These changes will allow us to preserve the character of the map and its historical content: there will still be no fundamental differences between the virtual Minsk and the real one, but at the same time it will change the gameplay.
The new map center will be more suitable for active maneuvers and will provide more fire opportunities. There will be more opportunities to meet the enemy: depending on the situation in the battle, the ability to attack quickly from the buildings on the corner can bring a quick advantage.
As part of the tests, we will check the playability of the new version of the map, see which game scenarios work more often and how the vehicles behave in battle…
Oggi una nuova versione della mappa di Minsk viene inviata al supertest. Lo scopo dei test è rendere la mappa più diversificata tatticamente e adatta a tutte le classi di veicoli. I problemi che vogliamo risolvere derivano dallo sviluppo lineare della battaglia attorno a Victory Square e dalla parte centrale della mappa, e vogliamo che questa parte sia più giocabile.
