October 8th: update 1.6.1 WoT on RU is released
Tomorrow there will be an opportunity to change the nationality of the T-34-85 Rudy, new historical styles for tanks will be added and the foundation for the new game events that we are preparing for you will be laid!
1. Change of nation:
In update 1.6.1, the first machine will appear for which it will be possible to change the nation – the well-known medium tank of the VI level T-34-85 Rudy. Two nations will be available to him: the USSR and Poland. In the Hangar, you can change the nation of the car an unlimited number of times. In the future, this option may become available for other machines.
2. Historical styles:
Added 12 new historical styles to change the appearance of tanks: one for each nation and the universal Huntsman style, which is available for any nation and type of equipment. All of these styles are available for gold in the game client.
3. In the near future:
You are waiting for a lot of new gaming activities. Among them:
• Halloween game event, where you have to fight evil on a gloomy map that will change throughout the battle.
• Ranked battles and a reward for them: German Tier IX medium tank Kampfpanzer 50 t.
• The final tenth episode of the “Front Line”.
• A new iteration of the Sandbox, including the processing of high-explosive fragmentation shells.
4. A slightly updated Trade-in.
* World of Tanks servers will be unavailable on October 8 from 03:30 to 11:00 (GMT).
** The situation on the global map will be frozen from 06:00 (GMT) on October 8 to 06:00 (GMT) on October 10.
*** Players with a premium account will be additionally credited with 24 hours of a premium account as a compensation.
