World of Tanks Supertest – vehicle changes – E 50M 121 and Object 140

Germany

Of the two German Tier X medium tanks, the E-50M is better protected and more durable. Thanks to its frontal armor, this vehicle is almost like a heavy tank. However, the thickness of its turret front armor is not enough to deflect high-tier enemy shells. Devs plan to improve the protection of this area by thickening the turret armor from 197 to 266 mm. Other vehicles in this branch will also be improved:

   E 50:

  • Front turret armor increased from 197 to 220 mm.
  • 10.5 cm Kw.K. L / 52 Ausf B.
    • Standard shell penetration increased from 220 to 230 mm.
  • 8.8 cm Kw.K. L / 100
    • Damage increased from 240 to 280 HP.

   Panther II:

  • 8.8 cm Kw.K. L / 100
    • Damage increased from 240 to 280 HP.

   Panther 8.8:

  • Damage increased from 240 to 280 HP.
E 50 M:

China

The Chinese medium tank branch will receive a number of improvements to the technical characteristics that affect durability and firepower. These changes should make these units more competitive compared to other newer tanks.

  • The frontal armor of the upper plate from 240 to 270 mm.
  • Standard shell penetration increased from 258 to 262 mm.
  • Tank durability increased from 1,950 to 2,050 HP
  • Engine power increased from 580 to 650 h.p.
  • Shell speed changed from 1000/1000/1000 to 1115/907/907 m / s

   WZ-120:

  • The cost of repairs increased from 16,401 to 17,395 credits;
  • The scatter of the gun at the maximum vehicle speed for the WZ-120 suspension was increased from 10.08 to 10.80;

    • Aiming time reduced from 3.1 to 2.9 s
  • 100 mm gun 44-100JT
    • Precision changed from 0.42 to 0.4
    • Reload time reduced from 9.1 to 8.1 s
    • Changed the aiming time from 2.9 to 2.7 s

T-34-1:

  • The cost of repairs increased from 7,655 to 8,384 credits;
  • The pool of hit points with the T-34-1 turret has been changed from 960 to 1,050 HP;
  • The pool of hit points with the T-34-1 model 2 turret has been changed from 1,050 to 1,150 HP;
  • 100 mm gun 44-100JT
    • Reload time reduced from 8.92 to 7.96 s;
    • Rate of fire from 6.73 to 7.54;
    • Aiming time reduced from 2.78 to 2.59 s;
    • The spread was reduced from 0.40 to 0.38 m;
    • The scattering of the gun during the turret rotation was reduced from 0.16 to 0.14;
    • The scattering of the gun was reduced during the turret rotation with the maximum speed from 7.34 to 6.42;
    • Average damage per minute from 1.682 to 1.885;

URSS

The Object 140 is basically a balanced vehicle, but it will certainly benefit from some improvements in terms of shooting comfort and survivability. Its gun depression angles will be changed from -6 to -7 degrees, and the frontal plate thickness will increase to 260 mm from 237 mm. Thanks to these improvements, the Object 140 will more confidently withstand the attacks of Tier X vehicles and play more aggressively on the battlefield.

  • Gun depression angles increased from -6 to -7 °;
  • Hull frontal armor increased from 100 to 110 mm;
  • Frontal plate thickness increased from 237 to 260 mm.
