GI Joe is back in the ranks!
World of Tanks is once again launching a special collaborative project, the packs of which will be available until February 20, 12:00 (Kyiv).
GI Joe is one of the world’s most popular action figure series.manufactured by Hasbro. Several generations of children in the United States and beyond have played with them and have been engrossed in the struggle of an international elite team of special forces against the intricately organized and well-coordinated global criminal network called Cobra. Millions of battles involving plastic action figures (often commanded by guys who are now playing “tanks”) have allowed GI Joe to become a legend.
Irreconcilable opponents GI Joe and Cobra came to World of Tanks to settle old scores. And they will do it on their new impressive machines “Zmeelov” (with the same performance characteristics as the TS-5) and “Cobra Fang” (with the same performance characteristics as the T-54 first sample), CAT (with the same TTX that of the M54 Renegade) and “Wolverine” (with the same TTX as the Strv S1).
* The appearance of the machines “Zmeelov”, “Cobra Fang”, CAT and “Wolverine” is unhistorical. Its display can be enabled/disabled at any time in the game settings (“Game” tab).

These packs include four commanders: Cover Girl, Duke, Cobra Commander and Baroness with their own voices, as well as four unique 3D styles based on Hasbro’s retro collection, and many cosmetic items.

Inspired by the GI Joe universe, the 3D styles resemble their prototypes in many ways, including their distinctive plastic finish. Take a look for yourself:
• MOBAT and HISS represent a different technological era, so they did not get into World of Tanks. Instead, we offer you Cobra Fang and Vipers, which fully demonstrate the character of their teams.
• We were inspired to create the Wolverine 3D style by the armored vehicle of the same name with a rocket launcher, released in 1983. The toy model, “based on the U.S. Army’s top-secret weapons system,” came with a Cover Girl figure and was equipped with twin launchers loaded with 12 Stinger missiles.
•The M54 Renegade has become a dangerous weapon in the hands of the Cobra! The “CAT” (Motorized Crimson Attack Tank) style is inspired by a limited edition toy model that appeared in 1985. This machine, secretly developed by Cobra engineers, is one of the most advanced and efficient in its class. Overcome difficult areas and maneuver like a real tank!
