New Year’s offensive 2024 WOT: everything about the game event.

Winter is coming, and with its arrival in World of Tanks the “New Year’s Offensive” begins! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, full of fun,wonderful gifts and valuable rewards.
During the New Year’s Offensive 2024, the usual Hangar will turn into a festive town with a New Year’s atmosphere and pleasant characters. Make the town brighter by decorating it to players taste! This year, the main guest of the holiday will be Vinnie Jones, a famous British football player and actor, who will add sparkle to this gaming event with his tasks and instructions.
Briefly about the game event
– Changing the Hangar: Hangar will turn into a festive town, which will have the Headquarters of the invited guest, as well as a New Year’s Tree, Fair and Installation. Change or keep the name of the town from last year’s event.
– Game event currency: four types of resources (rock crystal, pure emerald, solar amber and meteorite iron). Players can get them in various ways:
• by collecting them once a day in the town;
• as a reward for daily tasks;
• gathering selected friends in the towns;
• as a bonus from large boxes.
– Holiday atmosphere: includes 10 levels. Level up the atmosphere by using Rhinestone and Pure Emerald to earn rewards such as Personal Reserves, Training Materials, Special Crew Members, 2D Holiday Style and more.
– Favorite Friends: Select two players as favorite friends. Visit their towns to receive additional resources and access to special appearance elements.
– Vinnie Jones: This year’s special guest. He has prepared:
• 28 tasks: access to them will be opened gradually, but they can be completed simultaneously. Rewards include Commander Vinnie Jones, unique 2D art, discounts on vehicles, and more.
• 20 quests: complete them using Solar Amber and Meteoric Iron to increase credit and experience bonuses, as well as gain access to unique appearance elements.
* Focus on Rhinestone and Clear Emerald and players can quickly level up the party atmosphere. And to get appearance elements and economic bonuses, follow Vinnie’s instructions.
– A dog named Chuffy: will appear at level II of the holiday atmosphere and will give daily rewards for completing simple tasks. With Chaffee packs, the rewards will be even better.
– New Year’s store: will become available at level X of the holiday atmosphere. Use resources to purchase New Year’s Eve appearance items from previous years (2018-2023).
– Gift Terminal: Exchange tokens (another in-game currency) for surprise gifts, including equipment, personal reserves, training materials, experimental equipment and much more.
Decorate the holiday town
With the start of the “New Year’s Offensive 2024” on December 1, the Hangar will turn into a snow-covered town filled with special holiday magic. It looks fascinating, but players will have the opportunity to make it more festive!
When players enter the town for the first time, they will receive the first gift: a new Czechoslovakian Tier III premium light tank Pzw. 39 with 100% crew and a slot in the Hangar.
**The town name will be automatically transferred from last year. Players can choose another if they wish, but only once. If they didn’t participate in the New Year’s Offensive last year, the town will receive a random name (it can change it once).
Be sure to stop by Headquarters, where the special guest Vinnie Jones will give tasks and instructions. Visit Chaffee to receive additional gifts from him. Among other important places in the town, there are three picturesque decorated areas: Spruce, Fair and Installation. Use decorations to make them look more festive!
Decorated areas and decorations
Each of the three decorated zones has five levels. To increase levels and turn town into a real winter fairy tale, players will need to spend a certain amount of two New Year’s Offensive resources: rock crystal and pure emerald. Already at the first level, the decorated zones will have slots available for placing regular decorations in them, which can be obtained in various ways: •
by increasing the level of the decorated zone;
• for carrying out certain instructions from Vinnie;
• from Chaffee bags;
• from large boxes.
Players will also have the opportunity to decorate the town with large decorations that automatically fall into place. They can be obtained for:
• completing Vinny’s orders;
• improvement of decorated areas to the fifth level.
*** Regular and large decorations do not affect the progress in the event. These are decorative objects designed to allow to decorate the town to players’ liking.
New Year’s Offensive Resources
New Year’s Offensive resources are a special in-game currency that comes in four types:
• Rhinestone
• Pure Emerald
• Solar Amber
• Meteoric Iron
**** Use rock crystal and pure emerald to increase the level of the holiday atmosphere, and carry out Vinny’s orders with the help of solar amber and meteorite iron.
Resources can be used to:
• increase the level of decorated areas in town;
• carrying out Vinnie’s instructions;
• purchasing elements of the appearance of the “New Year’s Offensive” of previous years (2018–2023);
• purchasing tokens (game currency for activating a terminal with gifts).
Resources can be obtained in the following ways:
• In town once a day. If players miss an event day (or more), they will receive an increased amount of resources the next time.
• In the towns of selected friends once a day (up to two towns).
• As a bonus for opening large boxes.
• As a reward for completing standard daily tasks.
Resource converter
If players have too much of one type of resource and not enough of another that it’s needed, use a resource converter. It will allow to exchange any type of resource at a 50:40 rate.
Level up the holiday atmosphere!
The holiday atmosphere level in the town can be increased from I to X. At the beginning of the New Year’s Offensive 2024 event, players will have an atmosphere level of I.
To increase the level of the holiday atmosphere, players need to improve the decorated areas from the first level to the fifth, using rock crystal and pure emerald. For increasing the level of decorated areas, players will receive points to increase the level of the holiday atmosphere itself.

For reaching each new level of the holiday atmosphere, players will receive rewards. These include personal reserves, national and universal blueprint fragments, training materials, special crew members, an all-new holiday 2D style with unique decals, and much more. Chuffy the dog returns with a mountain of gifts!
When players reach level II of the holiday atmosphere, a dog named Chaffee will appear in town. The friendly dog has thoroughly prepared for the holiday this year: for completing simple daily tasks, players will receive bags of valuable rewards from him, starting with one bag per task.
This smart fluffy is also waiting for gifts from players ! If they spend in-game currency to give him a set of dog items (beds, collars, toys and treats), players will receive one additional bag for each task completed. There are three sets in total, so the number of bags received per task can be increased to four. Up to 12 bags per day over the course of a 39-day event is a lot!
Please note that the value of gifts from bags increases depending on the sets related to them. Simply put, Chaffee will return kindness for good done! Additionally, if players purchase a new set after completing Chaffee’s daily challenges, players will receive all bags associated with the set for that day. Possible gifts include a special 2D style!
IMPORTANT: Dog items (beds, collars, toys and treats) will disappear after the completion of the New Year’s Offensive 2024.
Visit favorite friends for additional resources and unique appearance items!
During the New Year’s Offensive 2024, players will be able to visit the towns of all friends in World of Tanks to admire them. When players join an in-game event, two people on friends list will receive “Featured Friend” status. The first selected friends will be those who are already participating in the event, but players can change this if players wish. Visit their towns once a day and collect additional resources to speed up progress in the event!
Don’t worry, the resources players collect from favorite friends’ towns won’t be taken from their reserves – players get them for free!
Every time players collect resources in chosen friend’s town, they will automatically earn a special point. By earning a certain number of these points, players can get the following unique appearance elements dedicated to friendship:
• a set of 6 sophisticated inscriptions (for 6 points);
• a set of 6 immaculate decals (for 12 points);
• powerful 2D style with unique distinctive markings (worth 24 points).
Say hello to Vinnie Jones
This year a special guest will grace town with his presence. Vinnie Jones is a famous British footballer and actor who has long been the embodiment of confidence both on the green field and on the silver screen. players will find Vinny in Headquarters (an interactive 3D area). Mr. Jones will share some of his special abilities with players if they are up for the challenge. He will give players tasks (to complete in battle) and assignments (to complete for resources).
Vinnie’s errands
Vinnie has 20 errands for players . Players will need to spend a certain amount of Solar Amber and Meteoric Iron to bring him certain items. Orders are carried out one by one: players must complete the current one before starting the next one.
As players complete quests, they’ll have the opportunity to hear Vinnie’s stories, as well as receive exclusive appearance items from him (including decals and two special 2D styles with unique decals) and special decorations to make town look great.
New 2D styles from Vinny:
• “Pain threshold”;
• “Axe”.
Each completed assignment from Vinnie increases all economic bonuses when playing in Random Battles (including General Battles): both to credits and to all types of experience – free, combat and crew experience.
Memo:
• The credit bonus will apply to all equipment in the game (including premium and rental) until the end of the “New Year’s Offensive” on January 8, 2024, at 09:00 (UTC+3).
• Experience bonuses will also be valid until the end of the game event, but only one of them can be active. By default, the combat experience bonus will be selected. Players can change the type of active experience bonus at any time in town. Active bonuses to experience apply to all vehicles in the game (except for premium and rental ones).
New Year’s challenge: tasks from Vinnie Jones
Feeling confident enough? Pass the New Year’s challenge by completing Vinny’s challenges!
The challenge includes 28 Winnie problems. They can be performed in Random Battles (including General Battles) using Tier IV vehicles or higher. Every day one new task will be available to players. All tasks will be active until the end of the event and can be completed simultaneously. If players miss a few tasks, they can complete them all in one fell swoop later. For completing a certain number of tasks players will receive bright unique rewards, including inscriptions, decals, a medal and other memorable game values.
In addition, for completing certain tasks for Vinnie, players will receive discounts in credits for the purchase of researchable equipment, the level of which will increase as players complete more tasks. To receive a discount on the purchase of researchable Tier X vehicles, players will have to complete all 28 tasks.
****** Each discount can only be applied once when purchasing a vehicle of the corresponding level.
Completing 23 challenges will earn players a memorable 2D style featuring the one and only Vinnie Jones (style includes unique decals).
After completing 27 objectives, players will be able to recruit Vinnie Jones as a commander. He has learned the skills “Repair” and “Fire Extinguishing”, as well as “Combat Brotherhood” as a “zero”, and also has enough experience to learn a fourth skill of choice. Be sure to choose a car that matches his personality and play it in a manner that suits him! And Vinnie’s voice will provide players with additional motivation.
Replacement of conditions
If players don’t like the conditions of the active task, they can replace them. During the New Year’s Offensive, every day players will receive a new opportunity to change the condition. Use them wisely (although players can change the conditions of any problem several times if players wish)!
New Year’s store
Upon reaching level X of the holiday atmosphere, players will gain access to the New Year’s store, which will appear in the game client. Use the resources to obtain elements of the appearance of the “New Year’s Offensive” of previous years (2018–2023), incl. from the Redshire Cat, as well as for the activity “With Friends Everywhere”. Each set will have a proportional discount depending on the number of items players already have!
******* Players will only be able to receive those appearance items that they did not receive in previous years.
Terminal with gifts 2024
Among the wonderful places in town, the terminal with gifts, full of pleasant surprises, deserves special attention! By dropping tokens into it, players can receive random gifts. The tokens themselves can be obtained in several ways.
– having reached certain levels of holiday atmosphere in town;
– completing Vinny’s tasks (one token per task);
– after spending 2000 units. “New Year’s Offensive” resources if:
• level X of the holiday atmosphere is reached;
• completed 20 assignments for Vinnie.
One token guarantees players will receive one random gift. This is also a good opportunity to get experimental equipment or components for it!
Large Christmas boxes 2024
Opening gifts is an integral part of the New Year holidays. Buy large boxes of game valuables for yourself and friends!
From each large box players are guaranteed to receive 250 gold, as well as a bonus: 150 units. random New Year’s resource and 50 units. a certain resource depending on the type of box. In each box players can find:
– more gold;
– loans;
– days of Tank premium account;
– Redshire cat;
– unique ordinary decorations;
– premium vehicles of Tier VIII or IX (including four completely new vehicles);
– equipment of levels II–V;
– 3D style for Tier IX or X vehicles (five new and five from last year).
