Lätt Stridsfordon 120 – fourth iteration of changes

On Thursday, the supertest for the fourth iteration of the Lätt Stridsfordon 120 began. This is a promo tank destroyer from Sweden, with a hydropneumatic suspension that can be activated by a button. It has good firepower characteristics with Armor Piercing shells.

The Lätt Stridsfordon 120 underwent some changes compared to the basis 1.23 version. Here are the main differences:

General

  • The cost of repairing the tank durability decreased from 14,250 to 10,500.

Firepower

  • The gun loading time improved from 11.51 to 9.59.
  • The gun rate of fire increased from 5.21 to 6.26.
  • The dispersion after shot reduced from 3.00 by 18.00.
  • The motion spread (max.) lowered from 0.40 (24.00) to 0.40 (20.00).
  • The average damage per minute with (AP) shells rose from 2,190 to 2,628.
  • The average damage per minute with (APCS) shells also went up from 2,190 to 2,628.
  • The average damage per minute with (HE) shells boosted from 2,764 to 3,317.

  • The max. forward speed dropped from 60 km/h to 50 km/h.
  • The max. reverse speed increased from 40 km/h to 45 km/h.
  • The engine power decreased from 380 hp to 340 hp.
  • The specific power increased from 16.55 hp/t to 17.00 hp/t.
  • The ground resistance improved from 1.4/1.5/2.6 to 0.8/0, 9/1.6.
  • The hull weight reduced from 14,210 to 11,255.
  • The tank weight reduced from 22,955 to 20,000.

Mobility in siege mode

  • The max. forward speed reduced from 20 km/h to 10 km/h.
  • The max. reverse speed remained the same at 20 km/h.

Stealth

  • The stealth of a moving vehicle after a shot slightly decreased from 3.26% to 3.09%.
  • The stealth of a stationary vehicle after a shot also slightly decreased from 5.44% to 5.16%.
