Annual awards
You will receive a special in-game currency called “Pegasus Banners” depending on your performance throughout all three seasons of the Year of Pegasus. You can get up to six banners per season, one for each rank you achieve as part of the divisional progression. You will receive one of the following rewards depending on the number of Pegasus Banners you earn.
You can get the Hurricane tank at the end of the year if you accumulate enough banners (12 units) during the Season of the Crimson Pegasus (the second of the Year of Pegasus). This vehicle has the same characteristics as 🇵🇱the CS-63, which is a familiar tank for players of the Onslaught mode. Additionally, the tank has an amazing 3D style and a special crew!
Rewards for combat missions
The mode offers weekly challenges that you can complete sequentially and only in this game mode to obtain Onslaught coins. You will receive in-game valuables, such as Tank Premium Account days, bonds or credits, for completing each task. Furthermore, you will earn an Onslaught Coin for completing a weekly series of five tasks. You will get a new reward automatically for each additional Onslaught coin.
You will also receive stylish decals and inscriptions for completing some tasks.
Seasonal appearance elements
You can also earn themed appearance items as part of the Crimson Pegasus Season. These include a unique progressive 2D style, badge elements, patches, decals and more. Here is what you can get when you reach the respective ranks!
**You will lose the seasonal stripes and marks that you earn for achieving the Champion and Legend ranks at the start of each new season. To get them back, you need to join the next season of Onslaught and show high combat effectiveness in it!
Changes on maps
Three more maps have been added to the list of Onslaught maps. They are “Oyster Bay”, “Studzianki” and “Zastava”, which have been modified for this mode. They have key positions and some objects that have been added or removed. You can find a large depression in the center of “Studzianki” and new entries to the central hill on “Zastava”.
Six Onslaught maps have also undergone various balance changes. For example, the location of the base and key positions on the Overlord map has changed, and an extra key position has appeared in the urban development on Ensk.
*** Himmelsdorf has been temporarily removed from the list of Onslaught maps for further development.
Additional combat modifiers
The Onslaught mode has more combat modifiers than before. The previous modifiers (25% to the initial HP of all vehicles and halved equipment preparation time) have worked well. They let you play more aggressively and make more risky maneuvers, and they also balance the role-playing skill system.
The Season of the Scarlet Pegasus introduces even more modifiers.
- Increased comfort of firing. All vehicles in the mode have a fixed reduction in gun spread to 0.15 m per 100 m, which gives each player a greater chance of damaging the enemy.
- Changed detection mechanics. The guaranteed detection range (the so-called “X-ray”) is halved (compared to Random Battles) and is 25 m. The base value of the time during which a vehicle remains detected by the enemy according to standard game mechanics is 3 seconds (in Random Battles this value is 10 seconds). These changes allow for more unexpected maneuvers and tactical surprises.
- The rental vehicles: are updated with new tanks: CS-63, Minotaur, and AMX M4 mle. 54.
****Equipment, Crew Skills, Consumables, Role Skills and Key Positions affect (as indicated in their descriptions) the base amount of time a vehicle will remain detected. Only the base time value has changed – from 10 to 3 seconds.
