World of Warships Update 13.1 Part 2, preview: What’s Coming in the New Patch?
The new patch 13.1 is on its way, and devs have some exciting features to share with players. One of the main highlights of this update is the Exterior System Update.
With this update, you can get permanent versions of most expendable camouflages in the game. You can either buy them or earn them through various activities, missions, and events. These new permanent camouflages will work like the existing permanent camouflages, such as New Year, Epoch, or Steel camouflages. However, they will not be tied to a specific ship Tier. You can link permanent camouflages to ships for free if you have enough copies. You can store unlinked permanent camouflages in your Inventory. You can also see how many copies you have in the Exterior tab.
Once you link a permanent camouflage to a ship, it will stay linked to that ship and you cannot unlink it. You should also know that you cannot use the expendable version of the same camouflage on that ship once you link the permanent camouflage. Another thing to remember is that you cannot sell these camouflages.
You can buy permanent versions of Standard, Single-Colored, Abstract, and Thematic camouflages for all of your ships once you get an expendable or permanent camouflage of this type on your account.
You can buy permanent Standard, Single-Colored, Abstract, and Thematic camouflages for Credits or Doubloons. The permanent camouflage will link to the ship automatically when you buy it in the Exterior tab. You can see the exact prices in the table below: You cannot buy expendable or permanent versions of Trophy and Special camouflages (for example, camouflages for Ranked battles or camouflages from collaborations).

These permanent camouflages will also bring some other changes
You will not be able to choose the More Camouflages container as a reward for daily rewards at the barge. We will replace expendable camouflages with permanent camouflages in Collections, Campaigns, Account Leveling rewards, and Clan Battles missions in Update 13.1. Devs plan to replace expendable camouflages with permanent camouflages for some activities in the future, for example, in the next Ranked season.
