World of Tanks: Fair Play Update – A firm stand against cheaters!
EU servers
In the EU region, devs have taken a significant step towards maintaining fair play. Today, they have implemented a ban wave across all servers, penalizing 12,562 accounts. Among these, 9,216 accounts have received their first warning accompanied by a seven-day ban. Unfortunately, 3,346 accounts have crossed the line, resulting in a permanent ban.
NA servers
Similarly, in the NA region, devs hane enforced a ban wave. This wave has penalized 230 accounts, with 166 receiving their first warning and a seven-day ban. Regrettably, 64 accounts have been permanently banned due to severe violations.
Devs extend our gratitude to the majority of players who continue to enjoy World of Tanks responsibly and contribute positively to our community. However, it’s disheartening to see some players crossing the line. Devs want to remind everyone that cheating is not tolerated, and fair play remains our top priority.
Fair Play
The Spirit of Fair Play is integral to World of Tanks. While devs welcome modifications and customizations that align with our Fair Play Policy, they strongly disapprove of any software that facilitates cheating, manipulates gameplay, or provides unfair advantages. The commitment to maintaining a fair gaming environment is unwavering.
Terms of Service and Licence Agreement
Devs want to emphasize that violations of Terms of Service and Licence Agreement are not taken lightly. They are actively working to identify and stop cheaters who use harmful and unwelcome software.
As part of ongoing efforts, this ban wave is the first of several. Devs encourage players to visit the Mod Hub to find all the verified and newest mods for World of Tanks. The Mod Hub is the safest place to download various mods without worrying about policy violations.
