Project CW, patch 11: Meet the Brand-New Agent, Walküre, and Enjoy the Balance Changes
Devs are excited to introduce you to the latest addition to the Project CW roster: Walküre, the baker’s daughter. She may look sweet and innocent, but don’t let her fool you. She is a fierce and ruthless fighter who will not hesitate to cook her enemies with her flamethrower.
She will drop on 2 febbraio 2024 07:00, so get ready for a violent weekend with her.
But that’s not all! Devs also have a special treat for you. As a way of showing our appreciation for your participation in the playtest, you will receive 8k Soft Currency and a 45 minute XP boost for each day you log in until the playtest is over. Patch Notes New Hero added: Walküre
Hero Balance changes:
Chopper:
- Chopper Main shell Penetration power decrease: 420->320
- Gatling gun increased heat generated per second from 20-25 (overall capacity is 100 so it should take 4 seconds of continuous fire to overheat. Before it took 5 seconds. 100/20 = 5 100/4 = 25)
- Chopper Gatling gun max damage range reduced from 400m to 100m.
Devs have made some adjustments to Chopper’s main weapon and gatling gun to balance his performance. His main shell penetration power has been reduced, while his gatling gun heat generation and damage range have been increased. This means that he will have to be more careful with his ammo and heat management.
Reaper:
- Changed Conditional Trait Grim Reaper:
- Updated localization to reflect that only 1 kill is necessary to trigger the conditional trait effect.
- Increased duration of conditional trait effect: from 10 seconds to 20 seconds as written in the perk description.
- Changed Machine gun values:
- Decreased Machine gun max damage range from 400m to 100m
- Increased Machine gun damage from 10 to 40 damage.
- Reduced Machine Gun total number of shots from 30 to 15.
- Increased Alpha Damage from 350-450
- Increased Reload time from 6-7.5 seconds.
- Fast Reload bonus increased
- Changed max zoom value from x4 to x6
- Increased turret front armor thickness
Devs have made some changes to Reaper’s conditional trait and machine gun. His conditional trait now requires only 1 kill to activate, and it lasts longer as stated in the perk description. His machine gun has been modified to deal more damage per shot, but with less shots and range. His alpha damage and reload time have also been increased, as well as his fast reload bonus and max zoom value. His turret front armor thickness has been increased to improve his survivability.
Akira:
- Change default fire rate: 1 -> 1.5 sec
- Change default alpha damage: 300 -> 330
Devs have made some minor tweaks to Akira’s default fire rate and alpha damage to make him more consistent and powerful. His fire rate has been increased slightly, while his alpha damage has been boosted by 10%.
Blitz:
- Increase TV Missile ability cooldown 30 -> 40 sec
- Increase Artillery Strike ability explosion radius from 10 to 15
- Artillery Strike: reduced number of shots from 6 to 3
- Artillery Strike: each hit will deal 200 damage to tracks.
Devs have made some changes to Blitz’s abilities to balance his impact and utility. His TV Missile ability cooldown has been increased by 10 seconds, to prevent him from spamming it too often. His Artillery Strike ability explosion radius has been increased by 5 meters, to make it more effective and versatile. However, his Artillery Strike ability number of shots has been reduced by half, to limit his damage potential. His Artillery Strike ability will also deal 200 damage to tracks, to make it more useful for immobilizing enemies.
Raketa:
- Move Hull ammorack crit box back/down.
Devs have moved Raketa’s Hull ammorack crit box back and down, to make it less vulnerable and easier to protect.
- Made UX Improvements for the damage indicator received from artillery strike/air gunship:
- Reimplemented shoot indicators logic to stack damages instead of applying new animation for each damage receive.
- Added Air and Ground Indicators.
Devs have improved the user experience for the damage indicator received from artillery strike and air gunship. They have reimplemented the shoot indicators logic to stack damages instead of applying a new animation for each damage received. This will make the damage indicator more clear and accurate. Devs have also added air and ground indicators, to help you identify the source of the damage.

They have fixed the reflection on water that looked blurry and pixelated, to make it more realistic and smooth and have also fixed an issue that affected the amount of XP gained, to make it more fair and consistent. As a bonus, players will receive + 8k soft currency and 45 min XP Boost each day starting tomorrow, to thank them for their participation in the playtest.
