The Pearl River map returns at 1.10 WOT.
In update 1.10, the Pearl River map will return to the game, which has become even better! It can be accessed using Tier III vehicles or higher in random battles.
Why was the Pearl River removed from the game?
The Pearl River map was removed from the game in 2015, because it did not allow to fully reveal the combat potential of all types of vehicles. In particular, the players complained about the excessive corridor and confusing driveways.
That being said, the unique decoration made Pearl River popular, and many players asked for it to be returned. And now that the map has been reworked and breathed new life into it, it’s time for a triumphant return!
Fascinating landscape.
Pearl River is a 1000m by 1000m summer map, inspired by the scenic Yangshuo County in southern China. With its release, tankers will be able to see one of the most beautiful corners of the country with all the features of the old map: a bridge, a traditional temple complex, and recognizable water mills.
The unique vegetation typical of this region has been recreated especially for the revised map. Bamboo thickets, osmanthus, lianas and many other plant species never seen before in the game will appear on the Pearl River.
While playing on the map, do not miss:
• bamboo grove;
• picturesque rice terraces;
• a magnificent waterfall that has sheltered royal waterfowl;
• green grotto covered with lianas;
• karst hills, so famous in the region that they are even depicted on the Chinese 20 yuan banknote.
More than 20 small objects add authenticity to the Pearl River, such as stone lanterns, bamboo rafts, and more.
Particular attention was paid to the sparkling and majestic waterfall, the flowing waters of which are amazing. And, of course, attention is drawn to the Pearl River, the emerald waters of which flow throughout the map.

The Pearl River will be available for standard and counter-type combat on Tier III and higher vehicles. There are six main battle zones on the map.
Music of the East.
Pearl River music features the melodies of traditional Chinese flutes such as di and xiao, the unique sound of pipa, erhu and guzheng strings, as well as breathtaking female vocals that reflect the beauty and grandeur of this enchanting card!

Pearl River sarà disponibile per combattimenti di tipo standard e di contro-tipo su veicoli di livello III e superiore. Ci sono sei principali zone di battaglia sulla mappa.
