World of Tanks 1.23.1_4: What’s New and How to Prepare?
The update will be released on February 22 and it will require some maintenance on the World of Tanks servers. Here is what you need to know about the update and the maintenance:
What Changes Will the Update Bring?
The update 1.23.1_4 will include two main changes that will affect the game:
- Resources for the Assembly Shop (Design Bureau) event will be added. This is a new event that will allow you to assemble and get the Object 452K, a new Soviet Tier X heavy tank that is one of the most mobile assault heavy tanks in the game. You will have to invest various game resources, such as blueprint fragments, free experience, credits, gold and bonds, to build the tank. You will have to hurry, though, as only 80,000 tanks are available for assembly, and the first 40,000 tanks completed will receive an outstanding 3D “Constructor” style with a unique number. The event will run from February 22 to 26 and it will be a great opportunity to get a new and powerful tank.
- The technical characteristics of the Object 452K will be finalized based on the results of the Supertest and the tank got some important changes:
- Top speed will be increased from 35 to 40 km/h
- Reverse speed will be 17 km/h
- Engine power will be increased from 750 to 880 h.p. (from 13.6 to 16 h.p./t.)
When and How Long Will the Maintenance Be?
The maintenance will take place on February 22, according to the following schedule for different regions:
- EU: The maintenance will start at 3:30 and end at 5:30 (CEST). During this time, the World of Tanks game servers will be unavailable for the EU players.
