With the release of update 1.23, the IT-3 tank (USSR, ST-4, Prem) will be tested in random mode by developers and supertesters.
Historical background
The IT-3 medium tank project emerged as a result of dividing work on the PT-1 tank into several projects. The first mention of the IT-3 fighter tank dates back to March 1933. Initially, the vehicle had a combat weight of about 16 tons, which was later increased by strengthening the armor. Like some other vehicles of that time, IT-3 had a wheel-tracked propulsion system. Also an interesting technical solution was the stamped turret. However, work on the project was quickly curtailed in favor of other developments.
