WOT 2.0 — Active Development Phase, Autumn 2024
Currently, the development of the Big Update 2.0 for WOT is entering its most active phase. The work is in full swing, with WG truly putting in significant effort for the first time since 2018.
Since our last post on August 4th, there have been substantial changes that directly impact two features. One of these is graphical enhancements, and the other involves modifications to the maps.
Preliminarily, the developers plan to introduce 12 to 16 Tier 11 tanks in the first stage! All of these are new vehicles from 1975. Some of these tanks are unique in their own way, although this may change or be extended to other high-tier vehicles due to resource constraints.
It appears that 2025 will be a record year for the release of new tanks.
