History and Variations of Waffenträger auf E 100 in the WOT Metaverse
With the introduction of another clone, there are now numerous Waffenträger auf E 100 tanks in the game. Let’s describe and consolidate each variation of this tank.
Waffenträger auf E 100: This is the very first upgradeable version of the tank. It was introduced in update 0.8.9 and removed from the game in update 0.9.15. During its time in the game, it underwent many changes. Currently, the tank can be obtained during the Waffenträger event as an upgradeable version given out from rental boxes. However, players should be aware that it may stop being given out over time. There are no permanent ways to keep an upgradeable tank unless it is transferred to a collector’s version, but most players prefer the promotional version.
Waffenträger auf E 100 (P) Mod: This promotional version of the tank is currently only available on the Chinese server. It appeared shortly after the release of the upgradeable version but was given away before the WOT publisher changed from Kongzhong to 360.
WT 12: This variant was released as a promotional tank at the Winter Auction in 2022 on the Chinese server. It has appeared several more times since then but is absent as a playable model on all other servers.
WT auf E 100 Phoenix: The latest promotional clone, set to be released soon. It has similar characteristics to other versions of the tank. The presence of the 🇩🇪 Waffenträger auf E 100 (P) Mod on all servers remains unclear, as it could have been given away too. The tank is absent as a playable model on the Chinese server, making it exclusive to all other servers.
WT E 100 Squire: A well-known variant for the RUBY region, notable for being a USSR tank with a gilded built-in style. There is also a promotional variant 🇩🇪 Waffenträger auf E 100, which could be obtained more easily than the Soviet one.
All Waffenträger auf E 100 tanks have identical performance characteristics, making it unclear why there are multiple ways to obtain them, as they essentially differ only in appearance. In our opinion, it would have been possible to distribute the regular promotional 🇩🇪 WT E 100 Mod without creating numerous clones.
