Clan Wars: 4th Campaign Announcement
Tank Commanders,
The World of Tanks team is announcing the start of the Fourth Campaign, the biggest event on the Global Map! Battling for the top prizes, unique Tier X vehicles, clans will face various challenges and earn fame points by completing clan tasks. To win the ultimate clan event of the year, spare no effort and claim your rightful place among the best on the Global Map. The situation on the global stage is far from being calm. Given the importance of oil to the world economy and the instability in the Middle East, the United Nations entered into a contract with a private military company called “Pandora”, whose task was to protect the oil fields and oil transportation infrastructure. Pandora was to guarantee their safety and provide reliable protection of the main source of income for the regional governments. In exchange, the company claimed a commission for the sale of the oil. The project, dubbed Black Gold, has been very successful and was highly regarded by many countries that also made contracts with Pandora. But the years passed, the company’s revenue and influence grew. In many countries, Pandora has seized significant political and economic levers; in some places its name has even become synonymous with power, given the company’s sway in various governments. Huge income, international support and unrestricted access to the arms market led to the uncontrolled growth of the company’s military power and resulted in Pandora becoming one of the most numerous, well-equipped and combat-ready forces in the world.
Things changed in an instant. A few days ago one of the employees of the corporation sent a set of documents to the UN that revealed Pandora’s terrifying plan – total world domination. Over the years, the corporation has accumulated strength and is now ready for a major attack on the world order. The plan is simple – collapse the energy market and maintain control over major oil fields. Any dissenting countries should either surrender to full external control or fall to the onslaught of Pandora’s military and economic power. Now every day counts; soon the world as we know it will cease to be.The UN is gathering an international military coalition that will become the last bastion of humanity in the face of the global threat. All previous conflict between nations is forgotten; the only way to close Pandora’s box is to strike fast and hard. Fights on the Global Map come with a bang! Do your part and contribute to mankind’s victory over universal evil!
Campaign Stages
The Fourth Campaign starts on 5th January 2016 and will traditionally consist of three stages:

2. Stage 1 Special Rules

2.2. Clans can capture provinces in several ways:
- Participating in a landing tournament
- Taking part in an auction
- Attacking by land
2.3. Landing provinces will be randomly migrating within the map daily.
2.4. During Stage 1, each province will be providing a fixed number of Fame Points:
Number of Prime Times during which a clan has defended its province | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
Fame Points daily gain | 400 | 1200 | 1200 | 1200 | 1200 | 1200 | 1200 | 1200 |
2.5. If a province is not captured by any clan, its daily gain is 400 Fame Points.
2.6. While holding a province, a clan accumulates Fame Points. Once the province is captured by another clan, the accumulated Fame Points are distributed between the new and previous owners. When a clan owning a province loses it, the clan gets a fixed percentage of Fame Points accumulated while the clan held the province; the rest of the Fame Points will be received by the new owner of the province.
2.7. The table below shows the distribution of Fame Points after a clan captures a province from its previous owner:
Days Owned | Previous Owner’s Fame Points | New Owner’s Fame Points |
---|---|---|
1 | 25% | 75% |
2 | 29% | 71% |
3 | 33% | 67% |
4 | 37% | 63% |
5 | 41% | 59% |
6 | 45% | 55% |
7 | 50% | 50% |
2.8. If a clan captures an unoccupied province, all the Fame Points accumulated in this province are added to the clan’s rating. However, 25% of those accumulated and received Fame Points will be distributed in case the current owner loses the province to another clan.
2.9. After leaving the Global Map, a clan gets no Fame Points for holding provinces; the Fame Points accumulated in the clan’s provinces will be deducted from the clan’s rating.
2.10. The Fame Points accumulated in a province are added to its owner’s account until the province is captured by another clan. As soon as the new owner gets the province, Fame Points are deducted from the previous owner’s account according to point 2.7. Fame Points are re-calculated after each battle.
Clan Fame Points are recorded and displayed in the Alley of Fame, as well as in clans’ profiles on the Clan Portal (the Global Map section), where clans can track their Campaign progress.
3. Personal Fame Points

- Team_XP: experience earned by a team in a battle

A battle for province (the final battle of a tournament) | 5 |
Elo Rating Coefficients (Elo_c)

1401–1600 | 1,3 |
1601–1800 | 1,4 |

3.2. A clan also gets the same amount of Fame Points for each battle as a member of the clan who participated in the battle. For example, players of clan A got 36 personal Fame Points after a battle. Thus, clan A also gets 36 clan Fame Points.
In disputed situations for crediting Fame Points (suspected match fixing, etc.) the game administration retains the right to request a battle record, screenshots and other information relating to this situation. If the requested information is not provided, the administration reserves the right to impose sanctions on the potential offenders.
