Chinese New Year 2024 and Lunar Boxes
If you are already a World of Tanks player, you will be excited to hear about the Chinese New Year and lunar loot boxes event that is coming soon. This event will give you a chance to get some amazing rewards, including brand-new Premium vehicles, 2D styles, and more.
Dates
The event will start from February 8th and will last for a limited time. During this period, you will be able to buy lunar loot boxes that contain various items. The loot boxes have different drop rates for different items, as shown below:
100% drop rate:
- Personal reserves: these are consumable items that can boost your XP, credits, or crew XP for a certain duration. You can use them to level up your tanks and crew faster.
- Premium days: These are days when you get 50% more XP and credits for every battle you play. You also get access to exclusive missions and discounts. Premium days are essential for any World of Tanks player who wants to improve their results and earn more rewards.
- Crew training materials: These are items that can help you train your crew skills and perks faster. You can use them to enhance the performance of your tanks and crew.
50% drop rate:
- Credits: These are the in-game currency that you can use to buy and upgrade your tanks, modules, consumables, and equipment. You can get 50,000, 100,000, or 250,000 credits from the loot boxes.
- Personal reserves: These are the same as the ones mentioned above, but with a lower drop rate.
15% drop rate:
- 2D styles: These are cosmetic items that can change the appearance of your tanks. You can get old and new 2D styles from the loot boxes, such as “Lantern Festival”, “Jiaozi”, “Green Scales”, and more. These styles will make your tanks look festive and unique.
- 1.3% drop probability (the probability was reduced from 2% previously):
- [NEW] Object 590 (USSR, MT-9, premium, magazine for 3 shells with reverse reloading): this is a new Soviet medium tank that has a magazine for 3 shells with reverse reloading. This means that the first shell in the magazine takes the longest to reload, and the last shell takes the shortest. This tank has good mobility, decent armor, and a powerful gun. It is a versatile and fun tank to play.
- [NEW] Miel (a copy of the Bourrasque tank in 3D “Urgent Delivery” style): this is a new French medium tank that is a copy of the Bourrasque tank in 3D “Urgent Delivery” style. This tank has excellent speed, agility, and firepower.
