Jaguar 1 is a variant and evolution of the Schützenpanzer Lang HS.30, a West German infantry fighting vehicle developed from 1956 to 1958.
The Raketenjagdpanzer (RakJPz 3) Jaguar 1 was equipped with anti-tank guided missiles: from 1978 to 1982, 316 obsolete Raketenjagdpanzer 2 units were converted into Jaguar 1s by replacing the SS.11 missile system with a HOT launcher. The armor was upgraded too and, from 1993 to 1995, new optics and a thermal imaging system were added to create the Jaguar 1A3.
Gameplay Tips
Jaguar 1 is equipped with missiles as the only type of ammo it can use, strengths:
- High alpha damage
- High penetration
- Outstanding mobility: same forward and reverse speed
- Excellent concealment, due to its low profile
The Jaguar 1 has limited traverse, but it has a high alpha damage and penetration values: it is one of the most devastating tank destroyers in Era 3.You have no armor protection, so use its speed and its stealthy low profile to relocate as needed.

Il Raketenjagdpanzer (RakJPz 3) Jaguar 1 era dotato di missili guidati anticarro: dal 1978 al 1982, 316 unità Raketenjagdpanzer 2 obsolete furono convertite in Jaguar 1 sostituendo le SS. 11 sistema missilistico con un lanciatore HOT. Anche l’armatura è stata aggiornata e, dal 1993 al 1995, sono state aggiunte nuove ottiche e un sistema di imaging termico per creare la Jaguar 1A3.
