Well, when your hull is a reinforced T1 Heavy chassis, your gun taken from the T29, and a turret shaped like a clown’s shoe, you’ll pick up a few nicknames along the way. Nevertheless, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts!
The Mutant 6 has arguably the toughest frontal-facing armor found in tier VIII heavy tanks, with only the KV-4 / 5 contending. With that in mind, the Mutant 6 is ideally suited at spearheading the assault in corridor-like battles where, like many heavy tanks, you don’t have to worry about being encircled. In addition, the pairing of the Mutant 6’s tall stature with excellent American gun depression means this heavy tank has a distinct advantage at shooting the top of enemy targets, thus completely negating their frontal armor.
