This tank is a American tank destroyer: the Detroit Arsenal presented nine possible designs for a new medium tank in June 1954. The TL-1 project won the competition, but the development of the TL-7, a light and well-armed tank, did not stop. However, on April 7, 1955, the TL-7 project was scrapped in favor of the T95 program. None of the TL-7 prototypes were ever built.
