How to Make the Most of the Final Days of Holiday Ops 2024
Commanders, the time is running out for Holiday Ops 2024, the festive event that brings you tons of rewards and fun! The event will end on January 8, 7:00 CET (UTC+1), so you have only a few days left to enjoy it. But don’t worry, we have you covered with some tips and tricks to help you maximize your benefits from the event. Together with our special guest, Vinnie Jones, we have created a handy checklist that will guide you through the final week of Holiday Ops. Follow this checklist and you will be able to get all the cool rewards before the event is over!
1. Complete Vinnie’s Tasks and Get His Exclusive Prizes
Vinnie Jones is not only a famous actor and footballer, but also a passionate tank commander. He has prepared some challenging and rewarding tasks for you, which are divided into two categories: Assignments and Missions.
- Assignments. These are special tasks that require you to use Warm Amber and Meteoric Iron, two types of resources that you can get from Large Boxes. By completing these assignments, you can get some awesome rewards, such as decals, two additional 2D styles with unique Marks of Excellence: The Axe and Pain Threshold, and bonuses to credits and XP. These assignments are not easy, but they are worth it!
- Missions. These are simpler tasks that you can complete by playing battles and earning personal points. By completing these missions, you can get some great rewards, such as Tech Tree vehicle discounts, Terminal Tokens, and unique Vinnie-inspired prizes. These prizes include a special medal, cool decals and inscriptions, a stunning 2D style, In the Crosshairs, that features special Marks of Excellence, and Vinnie Jones himself as a tank commander with an exclusive voiceover!
The best part is that you can complete both assignments and missions at the same time, and they are cumulative, meaning that you don’t have to finish one before starting another. So, don’t waste any time and start working on Vinnie’s tasks today!
2. Reach the Highest Festive Atmosphere Level and Unlock All the In-Game Rewards
One of the main features of Holiday Ops 2024 is the Festive Atmosphere Level, which measures your progress and determines your rewards. The higher your Festive Atmosphere Level, the more rewards you can get. The maximum level is X, and you should aim to reach it before the event ends. By reaching Festive Atmosphere Level X, you can unlock all the valuable in-game rewards that are available in the event progression. These rewards include a brand-new festive 2D style with unique Marks of Excellence, Personal Reserves, special crew members, Crew Books, and much more.
To increase your Festive Atmosphere Level, you need to upgrade the Decoration Zones in your Village. There are four Decoration Zones, and each one has five levels. To upgrade a Decoration Zone, you need to use Rock Crystal and Pure Emerald, two types of resources that you can get from Large Boxes. The higher the level of a Decoration Zone, the more resources you need to upgrade it. But don’t worry, you can also use the Terminal Tokens that you get from Vinnie’s missions to exchange for Rock Crystal and Pure Emerald. So, start decorating your Village and boost your Festive Atmosphere Level!
3. Treat Chaffee to Bundles and Get More Rewards
Another feature of Holiday Ops 2024 is Chaffee the Dog, a cute and loyal companion that will appear in your Village when you reach Festive Atmosphere Level II. Chaffee will give you Chaffee’s Sacks with in-game rewards for completing his simple daily missions. These missions are easy and fun, and you can get one Sack per mission. You are guaranteed to receive up to three Sacks per day.
But that’s not all! You can also spend in-game currency to treat Chaffee to a Bundle of dog-friendly items, such as toys, treats, and accessories. By doing so, you will make Chaffee happy and he will reward you with an extra Sack per mission. There are three Bundles available, and you can buy each one once. With three Bundles, you can get up to four Sacks per mission, or a maximum of 12 Sacks each day. That’s a lot of rewards!
So, don’t forget to visit Chaffee in your Village and treat him to some Bundles. He will appreciate it and give you more rewards in return!
4. Buy Large Boxes and Get Exclusive Vehicles and 3D Styles
The last item on our checklist is the Large Boxes, the most valuable and attractive items in Holiday Ops 2024. Large Boxes are special containers that contain various resources and rewards, such as gold, credits, Premium Account days, decorations, and more. But the most exciting thing about Large Boxes is that they can also contain exclusive vehicles and 3D styles that you can’t get anywhere else!
There are four types of Large Boxes, each with a different theme and design. Each type of Large Box can contain one of two unique Tier IX Premium tanks, which are new additions to the game. These tanks are:
- The Tiger-Maus. A Tier IX German superheavy tank with a rear turret, massive size, formidable protection, and a classic German gun. This tank is perfect for steamrolling opponents and absorbing damage. It also has a unique 3D style, The Beast, that makes it look even more intimidating.
- The Object 752. A Tier IX Soviet heavy tank with an autoloader gun in an oscillating turret. This tank has a small size and a clever armor design that improve its chances of surviving in the most heated battles. It also has a high burst damage potential and good mobility. It also has a unique 3D style, The Hunter, that makes it look even more stealthy.
Each type of Large Box can also contain one of two unique Tier VIII Premium tanks, which are also new additions to the game. These tanks are:
- The Type 63 HT. A Tier VIII Japanese heavy tank with a new cooling mechanic that increases its accuracy and tactical versatility. This tank has a good gun with decent penetration and alpha damage, and a strong frontal armor. It also has a unique 3D style, The Samurai, that makes it look even more elegant.
- The XM66F. A Tier VIII American assault tank destroyer with thick frontal turret armor and a powerful gun with a good maximum depression angle. This tank is a hybrid of a heavy tank and a tank destroyer, and can perform well in both roles. It also has a unique 3D style, The Patriot, that makes it look even more patriotic.
In addition to these exclusive vehicles, you might also find a brand-new 3D style for one of the following Tier IX or X vehicles in the Large Boxes:
- Old Reliable for IX Cobra. Created in collaboration with Vinnie, this style was inspired by his vibrant individuality, making it truly one of a kind. It features a colorful and flashy design, with a snake motif and a British flag.
- Hot Rod for X Panhard EBR 105. This style gives your wheeled vehicle a retro and cool look, with a red and black color scheme, flames, and chrome details.
- Sky Sentinel for IX AE Phase I. This style transforms your heavy tank into a futuristic and sleek machine, with a blue and white color scheme, digital camouflage, and a radar dish.
- Verfall for IX E 75. This style makes your tank look like a relic from the past, with a rusty and weathered appearance, and a German cross.
- Týr for X G.W. E 100. This style gives your tank a mythical and powerful look, with a dark and metallic color scheme, runes, and a wolf head.
These 3D styles are not only cosmetic, but also functional, as they provide additional concealment and protection to your vehicles. They also make your tanks stand out from the crowd and show your style and skill.
But hurry up, because the Large Boxes are only available until the end of the main event on January 8, 7:00 CET (UTC+1). After that, the festive Garage will be disabled, and you will no longer be able to purchase Large Boxes. So, don’t miss this opportunity and buy some Large Boxes today. You might get lucky and find some exclusive vehicles and 3D styles!
Don’t Let the Holiday Ops 2024 Pass You By!
Commanders, this is your last chance to enjoy the Holiday Ops 2024 and get all the rewards and benefits that it offers. Follow our checklist and make sure you complete all the tasks, reach the highest Festive Atmosphere Level, treat Chaffee to Bundles, and buy Large Boxes. You will not regret it, as you will get tons of resources, bonuses, vehicles, styles, and more. Don’t let the Holiday Ops 2024 pass you by, and make the most of the final days of the event!
How to Redeem Missed Advent Calendar Presents
If you missed some of the daily Advent Calendar surprises, you still have the opportunity to grab them until January 8, 7:00 CET (UTC+1). All you need to do is spend 300 of any Holiday Ops resources to get each unclaimed Advent Calendar gift. You can get Holiday Ops resources, such as Warm Amber, Meteoric Iron, Rock Crystal, and Pure Emerald, from Large Boxes, which are special containers that contain various rewards and resources.
However, there is one catch: you can only open the missed presents sequentially, starting from the earliest to the latest. For example, if you missed the doors from December 1 to December 5, you have to open them in that order, and you cannot skip any of them. So, make sure you have enough resources to open all the doors that you missed.
If you manage to open all the doors, you will receive a special present for December 25—a vibrant 2D style that features unique Marks of Excellence—as a complimentary gift. This style is festive and colorful, and it will make your tank look more stylish and festive. Don’t miss out on completing your festive collection!
What Happens After the Event?
When the event ends on January 8, 7:00 CET (UTC+1), some things will change and some things will remain. Here is what you need to know:
- Unused credit discounts on researchable vehicles: If you earned any credit discounts on researchable vehicles from Vinnie’s missions, you have to activate them before January 8, 2024; otherwise, they will disappear when the event ends. You can activate them by clicking on the vehicle icon in the Garage and selecting the discount option. You can use the discounts on any vehicle of the same tier and nation as the one you earned them for.
- Unopened Large Boxes, Chaffee’s Sacks, and unspent Gift Terminal Tokens: If you have any unopened Large Boxes, Chaffee’s Sacks, or unspent Gift Terminal Tokens, they will be opened automatically at the end of the event, and their rewards will be credited to your account. You don’t have to do anything, just sit back and enjoy your rewards.
- Large Boxes sent as gifts but not accepted by their recipients: If you sent any Large Boxes as gifts to your friends or clanmates, but they did not accept them, they will be returned to your account and opened automatically. To accept or reject Large Boxes that have been given to you as gifts, please log in to your account in the Premium Shop and check your notifications.
- Unspent Holiday Ops resources: If you have any unspent Holiday Ops resources, such as Warm Amber, Meteoric Iron, Rock Crystal, and Pure Emerald, they will disappear when the event ends. You cannot use them for anything else, so make sure you spend them before the event is over. You can use them to upgrade your Decoration Zones, redeem missed Advent Calendar presents, or exchange them for Terminal Tokens.
- Chaffee’s items: Once the festive Holiday Ops Garage is disabled, Chaffee the Dog will leave with all the items you purchased for him (beds, collars, toys, and food), which will not be compensated. These items were only for Chaffee’s happiness and did not affect your rewards or bonuses. We hope you enjoyed spending time with Chaffee and treating him to some Bundles.
