World of Tanks Insider talks about arty rebalance pt2

Assault tanks would have to fire only HE shells at close range with high alpha. The preliminary work was a flop and the project was scrapped: these tanks didn’t have armor and the use of 105mm derp was a redundant concept (Hetzer?)– devs still are rebalancing the arties. The idea of high ROF and low alpha was scrapped (no more fv304 and Armored Warfare arty mechanics)– Devs want rework the mechanics of HE shells and several draft changes have been presented.
– Molto tempo fa, gli sviluppatori volevano cambiare le artiglierie per la versione assalto dei carri armati (come KV-2 o Sturmtiger). Carri armati di questo tipo avrebbero dovuto solo HE a distanza ravvicinata con alto alfa. Il lavoro preliminare è stato un flop e il progetto è stato scartato: questi carri non avevano corazza e l’impiego di 105 millimetri derp era un concetto ridondante (Hetzer?)
– gli Sviluppatori ancora stanno riequilibrando le artiglierie. L’idea di un alto RATEO e basso danno Alpha è stata scartata (non più fv304 e meccanica delle arty come su Armored Warfare)
– Sviluppatori vogliono rielaborare i meccanismi dei proiettili HE e alcuni progetti di modifiche sono stati presentati.
