New British Heavy Tank Branch in World of Tanks in 2025
Following the release of the British premium tank featuring the innovative twin-barreled gun mechanics, it was inevitable that a comprehensive sub-branch would soon be tested.
More About the Mechanics of Guns with a Choice of Firing Mode:
- Unlike other twin-barreled tanks, a double-barreled shot here is executed only after changing the firing mode by pressing the X button. Once switched, if both guns are loaded, you can fire a salvo. However, several fire characteristics and the maximum forward speed are reduced. You can also revert to the single-barreled firing mode by pressing the X button. In this mode, both guns load regardless of the current mode. Thus, when firing single shells, the second shell loads in parallel, allowing a double-barreled salvo after mode change. During this transition, a unique animation appears on the muzzles of the guns.
Transition
Since there has been no official announcement, it is uncertain from which tank the transition will occur. The complete composition of the tank sub-branch remains unknown. At a minimum, it is expected that equipment will be available from level 7 of progression. Additionally, remember the controversial incident this year when WG removed two starting tanks from the 🇨🇿 Czechoslovakia sub-branch even after the official reveal! This situation might repeat itself.
Composition:
- Tier 6: ?? (Great Britain, TT-6, researchable)
- Tier 7: Tank (Great Britain, TT-7, researchable)
- Tier 8: Tank (Great Britain, TT-8, researchable)
- Tier 9: Tank (Great Britain, TT-9, researchable)
- Tier 10: FV230 Canopener (Great Britain, TT-10, researchable)
- Tier 8: FV226 Contradictious (Great Britain, TT-8, premium)
- Tier N: Premium tank (Great Britain, TT-N, premium/promotional)
There may be slightly more vehicles than described. The exact number will be revealed over time.
The release is scheduled for early 2025. This will not be the last branch for next year.
