As before, you will have 21 days of epic battles on tier X levels. Your battle path will begin with qualifications and through divisions will lead to leagues. As a result of the battles, you will receive valuable game assets, and most importantly, make your way to the main award of all three seasons – Kampfpanzer 50 t. This is a unique German Tier IX medium tank, which can only be obtained in ranked battles.
And yes, we revised the progression system. It has become a little easier and more accessible, and the pursuit of the main prize will now be less exhausting. Let’s take a closer look.
Qualification and prize fights.
In the previous season, the qualification was actually a full-fledged division and there were no prize fights in it. To get into the third division, players had to earn at least 39 chevrons.
In the new season, the qualification will have a fixed number of fights – 20. In the personal results of the qualification, both victories and defeats will be taken into account.
The system of prize fights will not change. But now you will have the opportunity to get additional prize fights for earned chevrons. They will get you every time you move to the next division.
Redesigned progression system.
We also reviewed the number of chevrons in the divisions. Previously, they were equally divided in each division, but now the lower level of the division has fewer chevrons.
In addition, we added fireproof ranks to each division:
• Fifth, ninth and twelfth in the third division.
• The seventh and eleventh in the second division.
• Ninth – in the first division.
The twelfth rank in the first division and the thirteenth in the second will receive the status of protected ranks. This means that you will save the chevron on them, even if you do not get into the top 5 players by experience gained in the losing team. Take a look:
These changes in progression will simplify your battle path and help you reach the top faster in ranked battles.
Rebalance role-based experience.
The system of role-based experience received balance edits. In the previous season, some tanks performed roles for which they were not intended. For example, the FV4005 Stage II often played as a heavy assault tank, gaining experience for blocked damage. But in the current realities, this tank destroyer with weak armor and a long reload is hardly suitable for the role of a first-line fighter. In the new season, the tank will receive a role-based experience in accordance with the features of its gameplay.
Rank tokens and rewards.
Rewards for ranks
In the new season you can earn:
– loans;
– bonds;
– gold;
– unique stripes;
– days of a tank premium account;
– other valuable in-game items.
* And in the new season, we will keep rewards for sprinters – players who will be among the first to enter the league. As before, the first 1000 sprinters will receive a reward for the Golden League – no matter what league they stay in.
Annual award.
Depending on your results for all three seasons, you can earn the main award – a unique German medium tank of IX level Kampfpanzer 50 t (can only be obtained in ranked battles). This is a maneuverable tank with good sloped armor, excellent dynamics and an excellent combination of one-time damage and damage per minute. One of its striking features is an extravagant design, atypical for German tanks.
** By the way, we redistributed the number of rank tokens for passing each division and getting into leagues. The total number of points for the entire year required to receive the final awards has also changed.
*** All tokens that you earned in the previous season will be saved!
More tokens you accumulate in this way, the more valuable the annual reward will be:
– Incentive reward. Awarded for 4 rank tokens. Contains a small amount of valuable game property.
– Standard reward. Awarded for 7 rank tokens. Contains a standard amount of valuable game property.
– Increased reward. Awarded for 10 rank tokens. Contains a unique tier IX tank and a large amount of valuable game property.
– Maximum reward. Awarded for 17 rank tokens. Contains a unique tier IX tank and the maximum amount of valuable game property.
Violations of the rules of the game and punishment.
In ranked battles, the same rules apply as in random ones. All penalties are imposed in accordance with the Rules of the game and the License Agreement. In case of violation of the Game Rules or the License Agreement, the player will be excluded from the list of winners either during the season, or upon its completion, or before the issuance of awards based on the results of the season.
Role-based experience rebalance: even more information about changes in the role-based experience system.
1. Defender.
This is the role of most heavy tanks, the primary task of which is to push through the direction or deter superior enemy forces. These are, as a rule, leisurely and well-protected machines, which, when used skillfully, block a significant part of the damage.
Role-playing actions:
• Blocking damage and exchanging strength points.
• Damage from a distance of less than 300 m.
2. Breakthrough tank.
The role of universal heavy tanks. Such machines, as a rule, are well protected in frontal projection and at the same time are mobile enough to initiate and develop an attack on a specific flank, and, if necessary, change direction and help allies in a timely manner.
Role-playing actions:
• Blocking damage.
• Damage from a distance of less than 300 m.
3. Fire support.
Role for medium tanks with modest armor, but with a comfortable gun and good mobility. Machines that feel more confident in battle on the second line and provide fire support. They engage in close combat against a single target in the case when they are able to circumvent it, and often receive the right of the first shot due to mobility and good camouflage.
Role-playing actions:
• Damage to equipment falling within your field of view (that is, according to your own intelligence).
• Primary enemy detection.
4. Light medium tanks.
Role for universal medium tanks with rational armor of the forehead or tower, as well as medium tanks with low mobility but good armor. Such tanks can effectively play at medium and near distances, covering cars with the role of “Defender”.
Role-playing actions:
• Damage to equipment falling within your field of view (that is, according to your own intelligence).
• Blocking damage.
5. Heavy attack tanks.
A role for tank destroyers or heavy tanks with magazine loading system. Such vehicles are characterized by low shooting comfort, but great firepower, thanks to which they can support vehicles with the role of “Defender” while deterring the enemy or pushing key directions.
Role Actions:
• Damage to equipment falling within your field of view (that is, according to your own intelligence).
• Blocking damage.
6. Support large caliber.
The role of tank destroyers with powerful guns with the ability to use HESH-shells. The parameters of the guns of these machines do not allow stable damage from a long distance, and mediocre security dictates a game style that assumes the support of allied vehicles capable of taking damage or blocking it.
Role-playing actions:
• Dealing damage to tanks at short and medium distances.
**** The effectiveness of receiving role-based experience depends on the distance: the closer the enemy is, the more role-based experience you will receive for the damage done. From a distance of over 445 meters, role-based experience for damage is not accrued.
7. The sniper.
A role for ambush weakly armored tank destroyers whose precision guns and high stealth allow them to hit targets from a long distance.
Role-playing actions:
• Damage from medium and long ranges.
***** The effectiveness of obtaining role-based experience depends on the distance: the farther the opponent is, the more role-based experience you will receive for the damage done. From a distance of less than 100 meters, role-based experience for damage is not awarded.
8. Tracked scout.
The role of classic light tanks. Machines with good visibility and camouflage, the main tasks of which are to detect the enemy and transmit intelligence to the allies, as well as hunt for single targets. Tracked scouts are able to effectively help allies, while remaining invisible.
Role-playing actions:
• Primary detection of the enemy.
• Assisting allies in inflicting damage to the enemy by transmitting intelligence, while remaining undetected.
• Damage to tank falling within your field of view (that is, according to your own intelligence).
9. Wheel scout.
The role of light wheeled tanks. Very mobile vehicles, which, however, are inferior to the classic light tanks in the review. Due to the invisibility and the absence of tracks that could have been shot down, wheeled scouts lead a dynamic game, constantly moving around the battlefield and helping allies.
Role-playing actions:
• Primary detection of the enemy.
• Assisting allies in the destruction of enemy equipment by transmitting intelligence or placing on a track.
• Damage to equipment falling within your field of view (that is, according to your own intelligence).
10. Artillery.
The role of self-propelled guns. Machines that, in artillery mode, cause massive damage and stun the enemy with high-explosive shells.
Role Actions:
• Help allies inflict damage by stunning enemy equipment.
• Damage to enemy self-propelled guns.
• Simultaneous stunning of two or more enemy vehicles.
