World of Tanks RU 1.26 Supertest: Boosting Several Underperforming Tier 8 Premium Tanks
In the upcoming update 1.26, World of Tanks RU will buff some of the Tier 8 premium tanks that have been lagging behind their counterparts. These tanks are:
- AMX M4 Mle. 49 and Liberte
- Chieftain/T95
- FV 4202
- Panther mit 8.8cm L/71
- T95E2 (which will also become a premium tank from a promotional tank in update 1.25)
Let’s take a look at what specific upgrades these tanks will receive:
AMX M4 Mle. 49 and Liberte
AMX M4 Mle. 49 and Liberte will enjoy better shooting comfort. They will reduce their gun reload time from 10.3 seconds to 9.2 seconds, and their aiming time from 2.5 seconds to 2.3 seconds.
Chieftain/T95
Chieftain/T95 will get some much-needed fixes, but the developers decided to keep them minimal. They will replace their AP shell with a APCR shell with 238 mm armor penetration (basic), and add a new special projectile with 270 mm armor penetration. They will also increase their maximum forward speed from 42 km/h to 45 km/h, and their maximum reverse speed from 15 km/h to 18 km/h.
FV4202
FV4202 will receive a significant mobility boost. They will decrease their gun dispersion due to movement and rotation of the chassis by 14%, and increase their chassis rotation speed from 40 to 50. They will also decrease their gun dispersion when rotating the turret by 25%, and reduce their reload time from 7.5 seconds to 6.9 seconds. Moreover, they will improve their aiming time from 2.3 seconds to 1.9 seconds, and their turret traverse speed from 36 deg/sec to 48 deg/sec. Finally, they will enhance their engine power from 650 hp to 800 hp.
Panther mit 8.8cm L/71 will rise from the ashes!
They will decrease their gun dispersion due to movement and rotation of the chassis by 12%, and improve their gun accuracy at 100m from 0.32 m to 0.29 m. They will also decrease their gun dispersion when rotating the turret by 14%, and reduce their aiming time from 2.5 seconds to 2.2 seconds. Furthermore, they will increase their armor penetration of the Pzgr 39/1 L projectile from 203 to 223 mm, and the Pzgr 40 L1 projectile from 237 to 261 mm. Lastly, they will raise their maximum forward speed from 46 km/h to 50 km/h.
T95E2
T95E2 will not only become a premium tank in update 1.25, but also get some updated performance characteristics. The main problem of the tank is low armor penetration and alpha, so the developers improved its gun and other aspects. They will decrease their gun dispersion due to movement and rotation of the chassis by 14%, and reduce their reload time from 7.5 seconds to 7 seconds. They will also increase their armor penetration of the AP M318 projectile for the 90 mm Gun M41E1 gun from 190 mm to 212 mm, and the HEAT-T M348 projectile from 250 mm to 265 mm. Additionally, they will increase their engine power from 560 hp to 630 hp (15.17 -> 17.06 hp/t). Finally, they will strengthen their armor of the gun mantlet from 114 to 254mm.
