ISU 122 2 – double-barreled premium TD lvl 8.
ISU-122-2 (USSR, TD-8, premium, double-barreled gun mechanics) entered the WoT EU supertest the day before yesterday. This is the second double-barreled TD in the game and the first high-level one (SPOILER: and not the last). The size is quite large and looks interesting.
History
ISU 122 2 is the Wargaming version of an old WWII soviet project about a big howitzer reusing old chassis of existent tanks. One of the options was to reutilize the SU 122 chassis mounting two 152mm guns (codename “The Bear”). The prototype remained only on chart and we have an artistic conception from that time. In game version has ISU chassis and mounts two 122mm long barreled guns.
Stats of ISU 122 2 have been changed in firepower (buffed). Role in battle: support tank destroyer. Special category Equipment: Firepower.
