Mitsu 108 – level 5 new regular Japanese HT in WoT
Mitsu 108 (Japan, HT-5, regular) entered the WoT EU supertest yesterday.
The tank has no mechanics. Mitsu 108 has a large body with characteristic “protrusions” like the KV-5.
As usual, with the official release in supertest, the tank was slightly buffed in firepower.
Historical background
It’s one of several prototype designed by Mitsubishi to fullfill the request of Japanese government, creating a big and multi-turreted breakthrough tank, like the Soviet T-28, but heavier and better protected. Among the several prototypes remained on papers, there were the Ai-96, Type 97, Mitsu-104 and Ishi-108. Noone of these prototypes was built in metal.
