New Polish Tank Destroyer: NC 70 Blyskawica
The NC 70 Blyskawica is a regular tier X Polish tank destroyer that features a unique mechanic: the damage of its shells depends on the distance to the target. The closer the enemy, the higher the damage. This encourages the player to stay close to the enemy and makes the NC 70 a rewarding but challenging vehicle.
The NC 70 Blyskawica is armed with a deep-rifled gun that fires unusual shells with high muzzle velocity. The standard and special shells are APCR rounds with a star-shaped jacket. They deal maximum damage at 50 meters or less, but lose kinetic energy and damage as the distance increases. The third shell type is a standard HE round.
The NC 70 Blyskawica has good mobility (maximum forward speed of 45 km/h), a strong frontal armor (200 mm nominal, up to 310 mm effective), and a compact lower plate and cupola. However, it also has weak side armor (70 mm), slow hull traverse, and a limited gun arc (10 degrees). The NC 70 Blyskawica requires good situational awareness and tactical decisions to make the most of its potential.
