The Pz.Kpfw. 38 (K) tank, known as the Krupp-38(D) in WoT Blitz, first made its appearance in the game after a lengthy development process that began back in 2017. This tank, quite old in its design, has been eagerly anticipated by players and might finally be released for New Year’s 2025.
Historical Reference: In November 1944, the Krupp company proposed one of the modernization variants of the Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) tank. The project aimed to enhance the vehicle’s firepower by installing a simplified turret from the Pz.Kpfw. IV tank, equipped with a 7.5cm Kw.K. 40 L/48 gun. Unfortunately, the work was halted at the design stage.
