Vickers MBT Mk. 3 – A New British Medium Tank from WoT Supertest
On Thursday, the WoT EU supertest revealed a new British medium tank, the Vickers MBT Mk. 3 (Great Britain, MT-10, promo). This tank is a promotional vehicle that does not have any special mechanics. You can see its characteristics and appearance in the image below. Its role and purpose in the game are still unknown.
The Vickers MBT Mk. 3 has a four-person crew, consisting of a Commander, a Gunner, a Driver mechanic, and a Loader (Radio Operator). It performs as a medium sniper tank in battle, using its accurate and powerful gun to deal damage from a distance. It belongs to the mobility special category equipment, which means it has a high speed and maneuverability.
Historical background
The Vickers MBT Mk. 3 is based on a real-life tank that was developed by Vickers in the 1970s as an export version of their Vickers MBT. It had a different turret design from the Mark 1, with a cast front and a better shape for resisting armour-piercing projectiles. It also had other enhancements, such as a lower depression angle of its main gun and more ammunition. The Vickers MBT Mk. 3 was sold to several countries, such as Kenya, Nigeria, and Tanzania.
The Vickers MBT Mk. 3 is a new addition to the British medium tank line in World of Tanks. It’s not yet clear how it will be available to the players, whether it will be a reward tank, a premium tank, or a regular tank. We will keep you updated as soon as we get more information about this tank. Stay tuned!
