Concealed Maneuvers
In Update 12.7, the temporary battle type Concealed Maneuvers will be available again to test new mechanics for aircraft carrier squadrons: the Air-Dropped Sea Mines and the Smoke Curtain Generator.
In this iteration, it will be possible to test the mechanics on two aircraft carriers that were previously removed from the game – Taiho and Essex. They will be available for rent for completing a special combat mission.
Battles will be held in 9×9 format on Tier IX-X ships. Players will be able to enter battle on Taiho and Essex, as well as other aircraft carriers.
Essex bombers will be able to summon a special Airstrike that deploys a minefield. The carrier’s also armed with Midway’s stock torpedo bombers with the torpedo sight settings from Lexington, as well as Midway’s stock attack aircraft equipped with Tiny Tim rockets.
Taiho’s tactical attack aircraft will be equipped with the Smoke Curtain Generator. They are armed with rockets from Shokaku attack aircraft but with reduced damage. The ship also has stock Hakuryu torpedo bombers with reduced cruising speed and Hakuryu researchable dive bombers with an increased number of aircraft on deck.
In the new iteration of Concealed Maneuvers, it will be possible to go into battle at the helm of submarines. The ability was added to interact with minefields. Each mine will have an underwater tether attached to it, and upon contact with it, the mine will explode and cause damage to the submarine. The amount of damage will depend on the distance between the submarine and the mine.
Manovre nascoste
Nell’aggiornamento 12.7, il tipo di battaglia temporanea Manovre nascoste sarà nuovamente disponibile per testare nuove meccaniche per gli squadroni di portaerei: le mine marine lanciate dall’aria e il generatore di cortina di fumo.
In questa iterazione, sarà possibile testare la meccanica su due portaerei precedentemente rimosse dal gioco: Taiho ed Essex. Saranno disponibili in affitto per completare una missione di combattimento speciale.
Le battaglie si terranno in formato 9×9 su navi di livello IX-X. I giocatori potranno entrare in battaglia su Taiho ed Essex, così come su altre portaerei.
I bombardieri dell’Essex saranno in grado di evocare uno speciale attacco aereo che dispiegherà un campo minato. La portaerei è inoltre armata con gli aerosiluranti di serie della Midway con le impostazioni di mirino dei siluri di Lexington, nonché con gli aerei d’attacco di serie della Midway equipaggiati con i razzi Tiny Tim.
I velivoli da attacco tattico di Taiho saranno equipaggiati con il Generatore di Cortina di Fumo. Sono armati con i razzi degli aerei d’attacco Shokaku ma con danni ridotti. La nave ha anche aerosiluranti Hakuryu di serie con velocità di crociera ridotta e bombardieri in picchiata ricercabili Hakuryu con un numero maggiore di aerei sul ponte.
Nella nuova iterazione di Manovre nascoste, sarà possibile andare in battaglia al timone dei sottomarini. È stata aggiunta l’abilità per interagire con i campi minati. Ogni mina avrà un cavo sottomarino attaccato ad essa, e al contatto con essa, la mina esploderà e causerà danni al sottomarino. L’ammontare del danno dipenderà dalla distanza tra il sottomarino e la miniera.
