WoT leaks new british heavy tank premium tier 7 A45 FV201

The A45 FV201 was a step forward of the Centurion and one step back of Conqueror. The FV200 series had to be adapted to many variants of vehicles, such as flamethorwers, amphibious tanks, ecc. The first prototype of FV201 was ready in October 1947, but the design was unsatisfactory and the project was cancelled. This tank was fitted with a Centurion MK2 turret and a 17pdr gun for trials purposes. Then the hull of FV201 was modified to mount a new turret with a 120mm gun. This vehicle was designated Heavy Gun Tank FV214 Conqueror. The prototypes of Conqueror were running in 1956.
Torniamo a parlare di A45 FV201, come precedentemente scrissi, si tratta di un prototipo del Conqueror, che ne utilizzò lo scafo (almeno all’inizio). L’unico veicolo A45 in funzione fu dotato di torretta Centurion MK2 con cannone da 17pdr, che è la configurazione adottata per il carro premium tier 7 in WoT. In sostanza è un ibrido medio/pesante, alternativa del Black Prince.
